Trick-or-Treating with a Ninja and a Ladybug

I love today - ghouls, ghosts and goons come out to play! This is Makenna' 1st Halloween and Gavin's 5th--he's an old pro at this trick-or-treating business. This year, Gavs decided to be a ninja and I decided that Makky would be a ladybug (since it is one of her *many* nicknames).

After we picked Gavin up at school, he *immediately* changed into his costume. (Side note: whatever happened to the days of wearing your costume to school, then having a school-wide parade around the school so that all the parents could take pictures? hmph.) Then, when it *finally* got dark, we took the kids out for a night of trick-or-treating. Great night. PERIOD.
